Currently living and working in Sydney, Yvonne hails from regional South Australia. With a primary focus on painting and drawing, her practice extends to experimental new media and large scale drawing and digital projection installations. In addition to her studio work, Yvonne has participated in several research and exchange projects, and  has been Artist-in-Residence for a number of secondary schools, councils and state governments producing large scale murals.  Yvonne has conducted a number of regional gallery workshops and mentorships with Country Arts SA and was a presenter and producer for a community radio arts show.  Yvonne been a finalist in numerous art prizes and has won notable awards including the 2015 AGNSW Robert Le Gay Brereton Prize, 2014 Tim Olsen Drawing Prize and the 2012 Country Arts SA Breaking Ground Award.
